An Update!

Hello! Welcome back to a new post! As the title of the post says, this is an Update post. Though real quick I would like to mention how sorry I am for not posting last week. There was a few things going on and I couldn't post, so I'm sorry.

On another note though I would like to say that a few weeks ago I mentioned how I was going to update my whole blog design and everything and obviously that didn't happen. I also want to say, that as much as I love this blog. I don't really have inspiration or desire to continue it. I've been doing this blog continuously for almost three years. Honestly I think I more just continue to do it since I feel like I have a right/obligation to it. I don't know when I started to feel this way but, I feel like I should now tell you guys about it.

A part of me though still wants to write blog posts and continue it. Like I don't want to let it go. I also know that a big problem with my blog is how plain and boring my posts must be. I don't add pictures or anything and I also really want to change things about my posts and I can and plan on doing so. I thought of all of this for a long time, it's just I guess I felt lazy to do so honestly. Especially since I don't get encouragement on my blog from anyone and I have like little to no views every week. So I'm sorry for the people who stumble on my blog or wait for a new post every week.

But I think I'm going to start a new blog somewhere else, like wordpress. It will still be about otome games, since I still love and play them dearly and a lot. I just lost some passion on writing blog posts about them here. Also since when I started blogging I only knew about blogger but I'd rather go to wordpress and I've been thinking about this for two years. I've just decided to stick with what I have.

So I may or may not continue posting here until my Wordpress blog is ready and I write some decent posts. Though I've also been busy lately so it might be awhile, or you might see a post next week. Please look forward to it though.

Also I do feel happy about some blog posts I did during this time. Like I deeply love all of my Utapri posts and all of the posts I felt passionate about, though sometimes I feel that a weeks posts is just like, something I have to post for that week. Though, please understand. And thank you. I hope to talk to you all very soon!

Time For Fresh Baked Snacks! +Official Otome Translations

Hello! Welcome back to another post! For this post I will be talking about official otome game translations. Though expect this to be a short post, that I may write more about in another post if I don't feel satisfied with it enough. But here we go~! (Either way though, aren't these translations posts just the gist of it all anyways?)

Like with most unofficial translations, official ones tend to have a group of people working on translating a game. Though unlike with unofficial translation projects, official ones tend to be an actual job that they actually get paid for. This also leads to them getting done with in a few months to a year. They get done much quicker.

You also have to pay for these ones obviously, as like I said, this is a job for people. Not only that but it's official which means the company who made the game gave them the licence to do this. So this could get bought physically and could be downloaded on sites like Steam, etc. This also makes them less risky, since you know it's all official, etc.

I think this will be all for this post though. I've been quite busy lately, so that's why these last two posts have been a bit shorter than normal, though I hope to get back on track soon! Though please comment down below what you think about Official otome game translations, and I'll talk to you guys later!

Let's Roll Out The Works! +Unofficial Otome Translations

Hello! Welcome back to another post! In the last post I talked about a translation group and how they finished translating the game they were working on. So for this post I'll be talking about translations once again, and this may or may not turn into a three part thing. Though for this post I would like to talk about Unofficial translation projects (game translations).

Honestly when it comes to this kind it takes a lot longer. Mostly because the people who are translating this and doing this for us tend to be doing this for free and in their own time. They have lifes of their own and things pop up. Sometimes/most of the time the project ends up being unfinished/canceled. So sometimes they will only translate one route in an game before quitting, but sometimes they do fully translate it. It just takes awhile as I said.

Not only that but I bet that if they don't get some form of encouragement, then it makes them want to work on it even less. Even if they choose to do this because it's something they love and want to share with more people by doing this. So with these types you have to be patient with. Not only that but unlike official translation, you have to download them in a way the could be quite confusing if you have no idea what to do.

Not only that but sometimes it could be quite scary as well, though I guess it depends on you. Also sometimes you need to actually own the game then install the translations they made and somehow put it into the game.

Though I would also say that this would obviously say that it would kinda take loner and be a bit harder compared to a company doing this. But atlas this is all for this post. Please comment on what you think down below! For now, I'll talk to you guys later!

Initialized Cupcakes! +Translation Projects +Anniversary no Kuni no Alice

Hello! Welcome back to another post! For this post I'll be talking about translation projects. Though before that I would like to mention that "Psychedelica of the Ashen Hawk" for PS Vita came out this week! You can get this game on Amazon or Gamestop and I'll provide links to them down below. Now though let's get onto the main part of this post.

I'm going to be talking about translation projects, though not necessarily projects themselves? I'll be focusing myself onto one group and one game as of right now. (Though I will bring this topic back to talk about a few other factors.) There is a group of translators called Marchen Translations. Today they finally posted the final/full patch of "Anniversary no Kuni no Alice"! They've been working on this game for quite a long time and the finally have it completed today! I'll give the link down below to the website and the page of the final patch.

Though last year I talked about this group and about this series. It's an "Alice in Wonderland" themed otome game. I knew this game in the past before I even knew about this translation project and last summer I installed it. This was my first unofficial otome game that I downloaded. At first I was even thinking about waiting for the full patch since I was planning on playing it once it finished anyways. But I downloaded it anyways and now I can finally play it now that the full patch is out!

I'm also excited about it since I always wanted to play one of these games ever since I knew about it! I had the app (and still do) of the first and only officially translated game of the series (it was the first game as well). Though Quinrose went bankrupt before I could buy any of the routes. So I'm happy to have this opportunity to me again! Also, "Anniversary no Kuni no Alice" is just a remade version of the first "Heart no Kuni no Alice" game (so the first game in the series). Also this seems to be the best version, which is probably why they choose to translate this one instead of the very first one or the other one. (They made quite a few remakes of the first game.)

Anyways, I'll be ending this post here! Please check out the project and hopefully download it and play it! It's completely free and I highly recommend it! Or else I'll talk to you guys later!

Let's Celebrate! +Uta no Prince-Sama 8th Year Anniversary!

Hello! Welcome back to another post! This post today is completely dedicated to the "Uta no Prince-Sama" series! You may ask why if you haven't read the title. But today June 24th. Marks "Uta no Prince-Sama"s 8th Year Anniversary! Back in 2010 the first Utapri game got released, and man has it evolved!

Even though this is my second year being into Utapri, it has definitely made a huge impact on me. I love the series and all of the characters to death! I have either made or mentioned Utapri quite a bit in some of my blog posts. Sometimes I even talk about upcoming things that are going on for them! Though I do really want all of you who read my blog to know how much I truly enjoy and love Utapri!

In fact I don't think I really spoke of this on my blog, but I write fanfictions on Wattpad as well. Though it's only one fanfiction book and it's for Utapri. It's a oneshot book, but I really enjoy writing and since I read so much Utapri fanfictions I gave it my go. I honestly don't think I'll write any fanfictions for any other series or fandom besides Utapri.

Honestly I have so many feelings for Utapri that it's just hard to put into words sometimes. I just want to thank Broccoli and Agematsu and everyone who helped made Utapri and of course the fanbase for making it so huge and important! I will continue my Utapri journey for forever it seems. Though I'm happy with that and I will always support and cherish them. I'm also pretty sure there is so many other things that I want to say, but this is all I can think of in my mess of overflowing feelings for this series.

Thank you all for reading this and I'll talk to you all, next time.

~~Happy 8th Year Anniversary Utapri!~~

~~Let's Continue This Journey Together Forever!~~

A Randomized Recommendation! +Varieties

Hello! Welcome back to another post! For this post I will be talking about having variety in your otome life. Since normally we always have a favorite stereotype and genre and everything in between. Though it's also nice to choose and go with different things sometimes as well. Though I would have to say that I guess it is more based on reluctantness towards things. Due to the fact that most of us otome players just play everything that we can get our hands on. Though we do get pumped up about things were attracted to/like.

So practically I guess it is more on reluctance. Though sometimes that can also lead you to not play a game as well. Obviously though if you play a game and quit it because you truly disliked it and it didn't live up then that is honestly fine. It's more like at least you tried it. That's more like what I'm talking about in a way. So just try new things when you can I guess is what I'm getting at?

Even though I finished up the main part of the blog in practically two small parts. I would like to say that, I may or may not be updating the WHOLE blog. I want to add and change a few things, and once you see it change then expect me to write a post about everything for it! I've been thinking about doing this for quite some time now, but I've been to busy. So hopefully this will be put into effect either this week or these few weeks to come!

So make sure to keep your eyes out and open for it! Also if you would like any changes in fonts or something that I use then please say so! (I'm planning on changing them anyways.) On another note though, I'll talk to you guys later!

No Sort of Favorite Dessert! +Having No Favorites

Hello! Welcome back to another post! I do want to quickly mention that Natsuki Shinomiya and Syo Kurusu's birthday was yesterday! So happy (belated) birthday to them~! (As well as Kaoru & Satsuki~!) Another quick thing I want to mention is that for a few weeks now I have "Search This Blog" gadget now! So if you want to search for a certain game or talk then you can now search the keyword(s) in instead of going through all of my years and months trying to find what you are looking for. It is a better and easier way as all the posts of me mentioning it or talking about it will all appear there for you. So use it as you please!

Now onto the main topic! In this post I'll be talking about how I just don't really have any favorites in characters or games. Now obviously I'm not going to lie that I may feel more attracted to certain characters or may like one a bit better. But I can never say that I have any favorites. I thought about it and really tried to think as to why. In the end I only came up with one thing.

This is being that there is no reason for me to not like them or really anything of the sort. Normally in otome games I tend to like every route I play for the most part in some way or another. So as long as I like it to some length then they are fine and lovable in my book.

There are probably other reasons that I'm just probably oblivious to. Though it's also kinda hard for me to put into words, it's just this feeling I guess? I just don't find a reason to have a favorite? Though not having a favorite or favorites does make it hard in some/certain fandoms. Though for me it's easy to get over since it makes me happy to love all equally. Personally speaking though I do hope that some other people feel the same way I do. I would also love to hear who your favorites are in some games and how you feel about having favorites or not. Or else I'll talk to you guys later!

What's A Sweet You're Addicted To? +Obsessions!

Hello! Welcome back to another post! Before I start off this post I would like to mention that a otome company called SEPTENI CROSSGATE CO.,LTD. is release a otome game in English called "Wiz;Alice"! Down below I'll have a link to the website, but it's another "Alice in Wonderland" themed game! Honestly this makes me extremely happy since I love this sort of theme a lot! It also includes voice acting as well! I don't know if it is partial or not, though so far it seems like it is full. Also apparently there will also be English voices as well beside from their Japanese ones. Though I have no idea if you can choose if you which voice you want. Though I'm happy about this and am excited for its release! (Note that this game will also be out on mobile! Both Google Play and App Store!)

Talking about how much I love "Alice in Wonderland" though, this is the perfect way to open about what I'll be talking about in this post! Obsessions! More like otome obsessions though, to go with the blog of course. What I also mean by this is that normally you have things in otome games that you can never get tired of/stop loving right? Or something that instantly attracts you to a character no matter how many times you see it in an otome game. Like how something I never get tired of and instantly attracts me to otome games are the "Alice in Wonderland" theme/base of the game. I talk about "Alice in Wonderland" multiple times before on this blog, so if you read my blog often then you will know how much I love it. (Honestly I should just make a blog post of every "Alice in Wonderland" otome thing I know. Actually wait, I'll do that.)

Though I find it also obvious if you look at the theme/background of my blog page. I'm just saying that everyone has something that they love and obsess over in otome games. It could be a certain stereotype or theme, or an odd habit as well. It all just depends on you as the player/reader. So I would love to know one thing that you obsess over in otome games! I gave you one of mind, also without any shame. With this I bid you all farewell, and I'll talk to you guys later!

Newly Added Library! +Otome App Libraries!

Hello! Welcome back to another post! Before I start off this post I would like to say that "7'scarlet" came out this week on the PSVita! And tomorrow Cybird's "Ikemen Revolution: Love & Magic in Wonderland" will come out! On another note I don't really have time for part 2 of that post of music that reminds me of otome games and routes. So who knows when I'll do it. Though this post is about mobile otome game companies. Since it seems that every company seems to be getting a library app for all of their games.

Now if you are wondering what they possibly are, then practically it is like Voltage's "Love 365: Find Your Story" app. They are app that have all of their games into one. So you have to make sure to transfer your games over into the single app. Even NTT Solmare seems to be getting/making one now. Even OKKO has one now. (Though I can't get it cause it's not compatible with my device, though I should check again.) I heard that companies are doing this since there seems to be this problem with itunes I think about them having either spam apps or something? (Do to them having multiples of the same type of game but in multiple languages.) So this is the whole reason for it.

Personally speaking though I'm not really a big fan of these types of apps and I prefer to stay with the standalones. Though I have no choice with Voltage since the standalones will be taken off once every game is on their Love 365 app. The whole reason for this is due to the fact that it no longer as the same unique set up that the stand alone has. Now it's all just like the library app color/design. Like when you open up a standalone you get to see its style and its own unique design. Though with library apps it loses that and just looks like the library app and the uniqueness is gone. Honestly I may be feeling over strongly or over sensitive about it but it really means a lot to me. Like it makes me be focused on just that app and story and really helps me immerse myself in it.

Though luckily someone who is a beta tester for NTT Solmare's library app showed what it is like and they keep that in it for each app! The only difference is that it has a added button to the menus so you can go back to the front/rest of your apps within the library app. So I'm app about that one at least! I also know that library apps help with storage and everything, so I guess that's a plus. Though this is all I have the time for in this post! Please comment down below about you guys think about these new library apps! With that I'll talk to you guys later!

A Continued Event! +Character Songs (Pt. 2)

Hello! Welcome back to another post and also the last part of the character songs post! (Honestly ended up switching the order a bit.) Though in part one of this I ended it saying that I wasn't fully satisfied with it. I more or less in the last post just explained what character songs are and how I got into them. (Which was through "Diabolik Lovers".) I would talk about my favorite character songs as well, but I honestly don't have any. Though I guess favorite character songs could also be your favorite character's own song as well, but personally I have no favorites.

Though I will say that I don't really go a search for character songs if I'm bored or something. Normally I only search for character songs after I either played the game or watched the anime. (I don't really like going to character songs that I know nothing about game and/or character.) That's when I go and search for their songs to see if they have any, and most otome games at least have one for each character (that you can romance).

(Also I'm not talking about mobile games or games like that, though Voltage Inc kinda has something like this. If you complete both endings in some games (I think it may only be in "Scandal in the Spotlight", though correct me if I'm wrong) then there is this short song for that guy that you bought the route for and finished both endings. (They also give you an option to just spend a few dollars to get it right away if you're to lazy to do both endings or whatever.)(Also, it's like this video with the song as well.))

With character songs I also try to find translations for them as well, since I like to know what I'm listening too. Also since the lyrics also explain and describe the character and sometimes their route as well. (Though this depends obviously, though most are like this.) So I feel like it would be useless to me to listen to a character song without reading the translations with it.

This will be the end of this post. I now feel satisfied about this topic, which closes it for now. For now though I'll talk to you guys later!

Hello! +Update

Hello! Welcome back to another post! I don't really have enough time to write out a full post for this week, so I decided to write about upcoming blog posts that I'll be posting (hopefully) in these weeks to come. So here they are! (Mostly in order, though it may change.)

-Music That Reminds You of Otome Games & Routes (Pt.2)
-Character Songs (Pt.2)
-Otome Library Apps

These are posts that I'm planning on making and uploading in these weeks to come! Please look forward to them and I'm sorry for the short/notice post, but it's better than posting nothing, and I would hate to not post at least something. With this I'll talk to yo guys later!

A Singing Event! +Character Songs (Pt. 1)

Hello! Welcome back to another post! This post is all about character songs! Honestly one of the reasons why I'm pushing off part two to the other post is because I'm on short time currently. (So this post may be a bit shorter.) So hopefully that one will be ready for next week! Though in my last post I did want to talk about Character songs again, so here we go!

For people who don't know what character songs are then basically they are songs that are sung by the characters in an otome game (/anime if the otome game has an anime). I'm pretty sure that for the people who've read my other musical post, then you should know by now how much I adore music. This makes me of course love character songs. Especially if I know the anime or have played the game or both. I mentioned this in another post, possibly the first post I talked about this on. But my first character song was "Kirisaki Carnival" sung by Kanato Sakamaki ("Diabolik Lovers" series.). From there it was all of the other Diabolik Lovers character songs. I don't really/fully remeber how I even stumbled upon it, but I do love it with all of my heart.

Though I would say that it probably had something to do with my huge "Diabolik Lovers" obsession I had back then. I just really know that I found it on YouTube in the morning and listened to it with English Subs. So I was probably searching for "Diabolik Lovers" videos that day. This is all the time I have for this post. Honestly I'm not fully satisfied with how much/what I talked about in this post, so this is part one! (Haha, sorry.) Though I would enjoy to hear how you first got into Character songs! For now though I'll talk to you guys later!

The Cafe's Playlist! +Music That Reminds You of Otome Games & Routes (Pt. 1)

Hello! Welcome back to another post! For this post I would like to talk about songs that aren't in otome games or made for them. Instead I'll be talking about songs that you here on everyday radio. In more detail, then songs that remind you of an otome game or a certain character. Even when you are listening to a song sometimes you just end up thinking about a certain character or game even if you don't mean too. On this blog I have talked about otome songs, background music, etc, but this time I'm not talking about the music in an otome game. (Though I still would like to revisit the topic of character songs, so expect a blog like that at some point.)This time I am talking about the music you hear in everyday life, but some or all of the lyrics make you think about a certain game or character.

Of course people can also feel and think this way with multiple things, but since this is an otome blog for the most part. Then that is what we will be talking about. But I really enjoy talking about music so yet again, here is another music post. So let's get into it!

Since I'm such an otome gamer and music fanatic, then of course I would have a character or game linked to almost every song on my playlist or at least most of them. Not even all the songs I listen too are based off of just one game or character. It could be multiple. Like for instance if I listen to a song that I found or started listening to a lot when I first got into otome games, then of course it would give me a nostalgic feeling. (Which it does.) Since a song that you listen to could also link to a memory or moment in your life or connect deeply to you. In my next post at the moment I'm planning on making it a post based off of songs that make me think of a certain character or game, then connect the lyrics to them/it.

So, I guess you can say that this was more of an introduction post than anything, but I hope it got you thinking as well and maybe you will go back and listen to some songs that may give you a feeling of a character or game. So for my next post I will be asking about what songs make you think about a character or game? (Even if the lyrics don't really fit with them, it could also be the feeling or idea of the song as well!) So for now, I'll talk you guys later!

Let's Continue From Where We Left Off! +Real Time Otome Games (Pt. 2)

Hello! Welcome back to another post! Surprisingly I actually decided to do a part two on this topic right away! In my last post I mentioned how I'm mostly talking about games like "Mystic Messenger" by Cheritz. Though in my last post I mostly talked about and summed it up about their new game that will be coming out called "The Ssum". Honestly I didn't even mean to talk about that game for the whole/most of the post. Though I will be summing up this topic in this post. In this post I will want to talk more about these types of games and more or less the idea of it. I would also like to mention about how you guys would feel if your favorite game ended up having a separate side game with this type of system.

Though one thing at a time. So I'll be starting this off with the idea/system of it. Honestly I actually really enjoy this. It makes the characters seem more realistic to me, even though we have to choose what we say and can't type what we can say. (Though I don't know for "The Ssum", since that is like just you and him, so we will see once the game comes out.) I enjoy the chatroom type of story/system as well. Because it's like I said, it seems more realistic, I don't really see it a lot, and I would like to say that it also makes me feel like I'm more in the story. Not only that but also since there are still some visual novel scenes and you end up with the character in the end if you choose right, then that still makes it known as an otome and still makes it enjoyable and more connected to the story. Something I also like is your private text messages with each other.

Though another thing I wanted to mention was, how would you react if your favorite game did this as a side game/thing? Honestly since it's just a thought, you don't really have to think about it that seriously. Though I feel like it would be quite interesting. Even if you aren't in it, but you are able to read the conversations in a group chat with all of the main characters/any characters from the game then that would be pretty cool and entertaining. Or maybe a chatroom for side characters, then one for the main ones. Or maybe you could even choose who's in each chatroom. Also you may be able to read their texts through each other off of the group chat? Though this is all an idea, though it would still be a fun thing to see.

For now though I'll end this post here. How do you feel about the idea of something side like, like this for one of your favorite games? Also how do you just feel like this overall? So for now, I'll talk to you guys later!

Let's Talk About The Present Situation! +Real Time Otome Games (Pt. 1)

Hello! Welcome back to another post! For this post I will be talking about real time otome games! More or less for people to get a gist of what I'm talking about then games like "Mystic Messenger". I mostly want to talk about this topic since Cheritz will be releasing a new game for IOS and Android called "The Ssum". It's like "Mystic Messenger" but also not, since it's more just you and goes off of your schedule and everything. (Check out the link below to the homepage for it to find out more.)

But I want to talk about this topic since I would like to know other people's thoughts on this a bit more. I personally think it's a cool idea and I'm actually quite excited to play this! The only problem more or less is playing it everyday and that it's technically endless. Though if I get hooked on it then I'll for sure play it everyday (I mean I login and play "Uta no Prince-Sama: Shining Live" everyday since the day it got released in English so I have faith in myself), but I guess I'll just have to wait and see what will happen.

Though I personally feel like this is something that I will get into heavily. Like I'll be quite hooked on it. I'm always down for some more interaction and story. Also since I loved how "Mystic Messenger" was and how you played it, since to me that was extremely fun (system wise) and yet also not good for anxiety. I still enjoyed it a whole bunch. I like the texting features and since this game seems to be based off of your schedule, then that will help with a whole lot of other things as well!

So I can't wait for this game to come out and for us all to start playing it! Though please comment down below your feelings for games like these and I'll be writing more about this topic (hopefully, since I'm bad at doing part two's of things) next week! So, for now I'll talk to you guys later!

Pastries That Are Alike! +Otome Step-Siblings

Hello! Welcome back to another post! For this post I will be talking about step-siblings in otome games. Though before I get to that I would like to mention that in Voltage Inc's all in one app they have now released four previous side stories that were once in "Seduced in the Sleepless City". This announcement was made today and you can get them for free for three days! Once you get them they are yours forever! So if you are a fan or have the rest of the stories then go get these side stories! But let's get onto the main part of this post.

Now in some otome games (more in Japan than in the US) there may be a step-brother route. (Though it's like that for all routes for "Brothers Conflict".) A good example that people may know is Shiki's route in "Period: Cube ~Shackles of Amadeus~", since he is the step brother of the MC Kazuha since they were little, through their parent's getting married to each other. I do know though that a lot of people may feel uncomfortable with this though however. Though I would also say that from what I read and find then it mostly seems to be fifty/fifty.

I would say that I don't necessarily have a problem with this? Mostly because these aren't blood related. If they were blood related then I could not get into it. It would be very hard for me to digest that, since it's absolutely a no-no when it comes to blood related siblings. That is the only thing I can't get into, actual blown out incest. Though a game can get away with step-siblings to me. It is more of just a blood related thing and being blown out siblings. Even if step-siblings are little when they meet. To me that is still more or less okay.

In the end I guess it is more based off of how you feel and your own opinion. So I would like to hear what you all have to say about this in the comments below! Or else I'll talk to you guys later!

Shipped Over Ingredients! +Otomate Titles

Hello! Welcome back to another post! For this post I will be talking about Japanese Otomate titles. Though more or less just ones that I wouldn't mind being translated to English. In this post I will be talking about two titles, out of their newest releases through out 2017 and so far this year. Please keep in mind that I would have others as well, though these are just the two that first came to mind.

The first one I will be talking about is "Shiro to Kuro no Arisu", which translates to "Alice of Black and White". This is an "Alice in Wonderland" based game, and you can play as two heroines with different routes attached.

Synopsis (Link, https://vndb.org/v19716 ):
Route: White ✦
The sky, covered in clouds — the World of White. On a rainy day, the heroine Airi, a high school second year student who lives a peaceful life, meets a certain young man on her way home. The young man, drenched in the rain without an umbrella, tells Airi that he’s ‘come to meet her.’ In fear and confusion, Airi runs away from him, but ends up getting caught. Suddenly, she finds herself in a place she has no recollection of. The same young man introduces himself as ‘the Black Rabbit, Rain’ and tells her this: ‘Alice, you will now become the queen of this world——’

Route: Black ✦
A blue sky with no edges — the World of Black. A sudden coup d’état takes place in the land that the second heroine, Luna, rules as the queen. The Queen’s advisors — the Black Rabbit, Rain, and the White Rabbit, Snow — who saw this as a serious threat, executed a plan which involved Luna taking refuge in the World of White while a candidate for the new queen would be brought back to the World of Black. And so, Luna was brought to the World of White, and Airi to the World of Black. The two girls who swap places; the secret behind their two worlds is……?

(END)

Obviously from my other blogs, I would want this due to the "Alice in Wonderland" theme. Though the story also interests me and it seems to be a different sort of twist (like vampires?). The next game I want to mention is "Library Cross ∞". This one is actually a mobile otome game, but besides your main heroine and main boys. There is also some of their old otome characters in this from their more older/previous games!

Synopsis (Link, https://vndb.org/r53199 ):

You have all been chosen to complete this book. In order to do so, you must defeat ayakashi. If the book is not completed, all of you will die.

You have until…1pm.

You awake in a world you’ve never seen before. When you look up, you notice a huge clock with 13 hours marked on it. Lying next to you is a ‘white book’ that is familiar to you. You find 9 young men trapped in the same library as you. Though you try to escape through a large set of doors at the back of the room, it has been firmly locked.

To escape from this world, you have no choice but to follow the orders of a mysterious book……

In addition to the game’s original characters, characters and the worlds from 5 of Otomate’s previous games will also be making an appearance. (Hakuouki, AMNESIA, NORN9, Moujuu-tsukai to Ohime-sama, Yunohana SpRING!)

(END)

Now of course I only know the characters from the ones that got localized, but I still find it cool and charming! Not only that but I'm kinda trash for themes like this for an otome game, with like this mystical element. I also know that some of you must be like, "but another mobile otome?". I honestly get what you guys are saying, but I like the concept for this one and to me it doesn't really seem like a mobile otome at all. Though the down fall with this is not getting references for when they cross over with a game.

In the end though I do know that for some people Otomate is a hit or miss or people either straight up like it or not. Honestly probably looking at what people say and think about this company probably doesn't help either. So I'm neutral about them and try not to think about them a lot. Though this will be then end of this post! Please comment down below the ones you want Otomate to translate as well as your feelings towards them! Or else talk to you guys later!

A Main Ingredient! +Otome Stories/Plots

Hello! Welcome back to another post! For people who have read my last post then you will know that I talked about some main things for otome games that could more or less get someone hooked on wanting that game. So, today I'll be kinda taking that one step further. The first thing on my list from last weeks post was the Story/Genre. So this will be the main idea of the blog for this weeks. Though I may or may not talked about this in the past, and I feel like I kinda talk about this a lot in other posts, but it is always nice to revisit it and to just make a whole post of it. (Also, the next following weeks posts, may or may not be continuing that blog. (But I may revisit Voice Actors, since I did make a post solely on that, though I feel like restating it.)

Let's get on with this post though. So I'll first start off with genre, though it may just end up leading to the mixing of the two anyways, since they do go together. I'm pretty sure everyone knows what genre means, so I'll avoid explaining it. Though for the most part every otome game has a genre. There could also be a mix of genres also though. Normally people tend to go for or be more attracted to genres that they enjoy. I'm pretty much the same as well, though it is always a good thing to try out different one or to play one that isn't really or favorite. (I explained this in my last blog.) Though I play any otome game regardless, but the genre does help in my excitement level of the game.

The story is obviously based off of the genre (it's always romance + insert another genre here, etc), though it could also be vice-versa. When I write a story the genre is always based on the story for me. Though I guess you could have a certain one in mind while making it, etc. In an otome game you have an overall theme/main story plot, but then you have your route stories/plots. So when you think about it, it technically is multiple stories in one. (Or adds up to one story.) Though even though it could all end being one main story, obviously other route plots (or even all) could end up entertaining you/you could end up enjoying them better than others. Though when you read a synopsis of an otome game I guess you are reading about the overall main story in the end.

I think I'll end this post here. Hopefully I was able to shed some light on something at least. Though if you'd like to add in your own thoughts then comment down below! Or else I'll talk to you guys later!

The Best Ingredients! +Otome Things

Hello! Welcome back to another post! Before I get to the main part of this post I'd like to mention that "Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly", "Psychedelica of the Ashen Hawk", and "7'scarlet" are all ready for pre-order on Amazon! So I'll make sure to leave a link down below to each page. The main thing I'll be talking about in this post is things I find as a big part of an otome game. You could also think of this as things that make an otome game. Though that could/may differ. But let's get started with it!

When I think about this the first thing that comes to my mind is the story/genre. Even though both the story and genre could probably be split up, it more or else also fits together. Since a story could be based off a genre or vise versa, etc. This basically also determines to how much I would want to play that game as well. Of course there may be other aspects as well, but this is mostly it. Everything is mostly determined through the synopsis of the story/game and what it's about. Though I also tend to play any game no matter what but this is more based on hype and wanting/order I may play games. When it comes to genres then even though I may not like a certain one when faced to one I'm not into and one I am (or just between overall themes) then I try to be open about it. This is mostly due to me playing a game I thought I wouldn't like as much as the other one I had so I started it first to get it over with, but in the end I actually ended up enjoying that one more than the other.

The next thing I would have to say is art. Even though I try not to pay attention to art as a main thing, it's kinda hard not to. I mean you get the story and art style kinda right off the bat. So of course this would have to be here. Also even though I only know of one artist by their name, I do notice other artist/art styles I know through out other otome games. I recently discovered that this also kinda makes me want to play a game, since I notice these art styles and artist, and since it's familiar I guess it makes me want to play the game a bit more then possibly other or such. (I hope I conveyed it in a way for people to understand? Also, this kinda makes me biased towards wanting to play "7'scarlet" a bit more than the other games, because of Chinatsu Kurahana?)

The last thing I would say for this post is the characters/voice actors. I kinda feel like this one is a no brainier? Obviously in order to enjoy an otome game you would have to connect with at least one character I feel like? Though that could also not be true. But normally you at least have to be interested in one in order to become interested in the others. Normally if a game doesn't have characters (or I guess stereotypes also?) that you either don't enjoy or like as much then this could probably lower how you feel about the game. But then there is voice actors. (Which new otome gamers may not relate to yet?) Normally if you find a voice actor(s) you either like and/or you enjoy then this could make this game much more entertaining for you or at least get you more hyped and wanting the game. And honestly it's as simple as that for voice actors I feel like.

In conclusion there could also be more elements, though I personally feel like I covered the basics. Since these things are the main things I look for and am interested in? (Though maybe for some people also console and language? Though I don't really care?) This shall be then end of this post though. If you want to add your what you look for/think is important the comment down below! Or else I'll talk to you guys later!

Main Dessert Choices! +Otome MCs/Heroines

Hello! Welcome back to another post! Before I start off this post I would like to mention that pre-orders for "Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly" and "Psychedelica of the Ashen Hawk" are now up on GameStop. On its page it says that "Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly" is going to come out April 27th of this year, and "Psychedelica of the Ashen Hawk" is going to be released on June 29th. I leave the link to both preorder pages down below! Now though lets get into the main part of this post. I don't recall if I ever did a post or at least a paragraph about this, but this post is going to be about our Otome Heroines!

Now I don't really have an issue with otome heroines? I mean I can also understand why people could not like some/certain MCs also. The main/common MC/Heroine is mostly innocent, childish, inexperienced, and etc. Though maybe this heroine type doesn't really bother me because I start off with this type? Though no matter what I don't really care. Though of course having a variety of different heroines is always nice as well. Honestly I probably notice a heroine with a unique trait or design most though. Even if I do find a heroine annoying or whatever, then it mostly disappears soon after.

This reason is mostly because I am probably more focused on the story-line or something of the sort anyways? I mean like you can have any heroine you want, but I feel like they have to fit in with the story at least. Or at least fit the situations they are in. So I guess for me it is all based more on the story and how it fits and everything? Though I also just can't really hate any of them anyways.

I think I'll end this post here. Comment down below how you feel about our otome MCs/Heroines and which ones are your favorite and why. Though or else I'll talk to you guys later!
