Bring Your Laptop To The Cafe! +PC Otome Games

Hello! Welcome back to another post! For this post I'll be talking about otome games that are played on the computer or most known as PC (though the same thing). There are also even some otome games that are on the PC that are also made on mobile as well. I started on mobile but I remember when I first started playing one on my PC. I enjoyed it a lot and enjoyed playing it during the night. Probably because I mobile games during the day, since I'm on the platform during the day with my PC at night. Though I love both equally, since it all depends on the otome game in the end anyways. 

And of course their are both pros and cons to both sides. Though this post is just about PC, so a war between the two another day. When it comes down to PC a company may have a demo of the game that you can download and try out, if you have to pay money for the game. Though there are also free ones as well. A game on PC that you pay for can basically average to around $30. So you are getting everything at one go. So if you really wanted too you could play the whole game in one go (depending on how long it takes for each route), or you could split up when to play each route when you want to. (I honestly always go for splitting it up.)

If you want to make this simpler then a paid PC otome game will almost mostly have voice acting it. I actually don't think I've ever ran into one where there wasn't voice acting in it. Not only that but there may be some added things that you might get/or something that a free one doesn't offer.

With free ones there's most likely no voice acting and sometimes not even music. For this one I actually do know of a game that does have both music AND voice acting. This game is called "Seduce Me the Otome" by Michaela Laws. This game is a really amazing otome games and I'm putting a link of it's Steam page down below and so you guys should totally check it out. Especially! Since it's free. 

To me though I would say that voice acting and music are more like added bonuses to otome games though. (Though I would also like to AT LEAST have music in it.) I think the type of an otome game and the story and what's it about can be more appealing. (But both of those other two things do help.) Though I would say that it all ends on preference on how you like PC otome's in the end. So comment down below on how you feel about them, and I'll talk to you guys later!

Cafe Progress! +An Update

Hello! Welcome back to another post! This post will actually be a short one because, this is an update post! Normally I never really do update posts about my blog or anything, but I feel like I need to write one. I actually won't be able to play any otome games for a few months. This saddens me a lot though, though I want to try to continue playing them during my free time. I always enjoy otome games and that's the reason why I made this blog. A lot of people don't read my blog, if barely any. This could also be because of the blog site I use or whatever. For next week's post I really want to talk about how I feel towards otome games and just generally express my feelings and everything about it.

I know that these last few weeks post's haven't been the best, since I honestly don't have the time to plan what I'm going to do and everything anymore. Though I will try to get better again and I might bring back some old blog series/themes/parts I did in the past that I enjoyed and can bring up again. (I might also make a blog series of all the otome companies and what I like/dislike about them, maybe?) I'll try to start making better posts again since this blog means a lot to me, and I personally enjoy writing posts for you guys! (Or at least the people who read it.)

This blog is on it's 3rd year. And so, I just want to thank everyone (new or old (or even one time)) who read this blog and enjoy it! I want people to enjoy this blog and I want to continue it for as long as I can! So even if I don't say thank you to all of you that much or rarely. I truly am grateful to everyone!

A Nice Sit Down Time! +Uta no Prince-Sama: Shining Live

Hello! Welcome back to another post! I think I mentioned in last week's post that I'm not playing any otome games until March due to my hectic life at the moment. (And hopefully it won't be hectic in March still.) Though one thing I have been playing in my down time is of course "Uta no Prince-Sama: Shining Live"! (For those of you who haven't read my last two posts.) By the way I'm sorry for all of the Shining Live posts, but I am such a HUGE Utapri fan and with my life right now as it is, so I hope everyone understand. Also expect this to me another more short post. (Possibly even shorter than the last.) Let's get on with it though!

I actually ended up reading a lot more of the main story chapters. Since with the Valentines Event going on I actually have a break and can further explore. Not only that but I really wanted to unlock songs and since I leveled up so much thanks to the events, I ended up with a lot of tickets. This actually makes me want to write a more detailed/examined blog post about the translations in Shining Live, now that I actually have more material to think upon. So that will probably be next weeks post.

A Newly Baked Pie! +Mystic Messenger +Uta no Prince Sama Shining Live

Hello! Welcome back to another post! To start off this post I would like to talk about the release of Ray's route in "Mystic Messenger"! If you already have V's route bought and unlocked then Ray's route will only cost 250 hourglasses. Though if you haven't unlocked V's route then all of Another Story will cost 550 hourglasses. This is really the only thing I wanted to bring up about it, but I will say that I'm highly excited to play Ray's route! I just have to wait a bit before I can. On another note though I will have to also wait to play "Collar x Malice". I'll probably end up playing both games in March, since right now my life is quite hectic.

Right now during the free time I get, I'm actually playing "Uta no Prince-Sama: Shining Live". Last week's post was basically all about this game that I've been playing. The event currently going on now is Masato's event. I'm trying to aim for his 10% also, but I've been busier this time around during this event, so hopefully I'll get there. (I probably will just end up spending my prisms on LP instead of going for a gacha this time.) Last time I was able to get to the 10%, so I have hope for this one. I just can't be lazy with it. Also this Masato one is the second part of the event. The first part was Ren and the second part is Masato. I do have to confess though, that I really do enjoy his UR for this event.

This post is actually going to end here. I know that it's a short post than normal, but this is all I got for this week. I don't really know what I'm going to do for the rest of the February, so I might further examine games that I've played and do a further more detailed blog about it. But yet again I may not. A Big Shipment Has Come In! +Uta no Prince Sama Shining Live

Hello! Welcome back to another post! This post is about "Uta no Prince Sama: Shining Live"! The English version (along with Chinese) recently came out this past week, and of course I went ahead and downloaded it right away. Before I start talking about it though I do want to mention that I was planning on starting "Collar x Malice" but that obviously didn't happen. I decided to just play Shining Live this whole time instead. Though I'm planning on picking it up this week, so hopefully that will stay that way. 

Back to the main thing though. Honestly I am super excited and hyped about this. I have been playing it nonstop and time just seems to fly by. There are a few problems with this though that I can't really ignore. I've also seen this complaint and everything through the people I follow on Twitter as well. And that is it's characterization. There are somethings that the character's say that don't fit them at all. It's like someone just translated it without even knowing the characters. Honestly to me that's really disappointing and upsets me every time I realize it. Though I can ignore it for the post part or my mind auto-corrects it. Ren's event is currently on and I unlocked all ten episodes and I haven't even touched them at all yet. I wish we could do something about this, but I don't really know what we could do. 

I think that's the only thing that I can think of that actually was big on me. I really do enjoy this game and the series of course obviously. I'm such a huge Utapri fan so I'll also obviously still love and play this game. Not only that but people are actually meme-ing the wrong characterzation's also, so I guess there is some fun in it? 

I can't wait for what's to come to this app and hopefully somewhere down the line there will be fixed translations. (Even if we have a big/long maintenance for it. It would be worth it.) I overall enjoy this app and will continue to enjoy along with Utapri. A Finished Tea! +Period: Cube ~Shackles of Amadeus~

Hello! Welcome back to another post! Before I start off this post I do want to mention real quick that for people who bought games on Voltage stand alone apps, then make sure to transfer all of your apps to their app Love 365 and also do it as fast as you can since they do have a transfer deadline date for them! (Varies on when app transfers over, normally a 3 month time period. Link below of the transfer end dates.)

Though now let's get onto the main focus of this post! Last week's post I mentioned that I would make a post about "Period: Cube ~Shackles of Amadeus~" once I finished it! Well... I did finish it, I just haven't read or looked at any of his perspective's yet. Honestly I also tried to see and figure out if there was like a true route just to make sure and sure enough there wasn't any, so I really am finished. Honestly I personally really enjoyed this game. I know that Otomate games for some people are either hit or miss, good, or just bad. Though I really enjoyed this title and this was the title I was most excited for out off all of the English PS Vita releases last year. So I guess that could've also helped out in a way?

In this game I loved all of the characters! Even some side characters like Forte. I always enjoyed seeing them appear in the other routes that I've done once I actually knew more about them and everything. I feel like they made a lot of things more light hearted and enjoyable during certain times. Actually when I first saw and heard Jocus in the first route I've done, I instantly recognized his voice actor, which made me very surprised at first, but happy at the end. (Especially since I only look at the main guy's voice actors, so obviously I would be a bit surprised.)

My first route for this game was Astrum's route. And I finished this game on Demento's. Honestly my first time playing is always a mystery since I always just go with fate and I guess fate has lead me to Astrum first and if I realized/figured out how to get Demento's route sooner I would've played him way sooner. Also since I'm pretty sure Hiroya and Poyo-Poyo's routes are supposed to be the last two that you play, but whoops. If I did play Demento's route earlier then Poyo-Poyo's route would've been last. (And I would've liked to of made Demento my second route then. Though I do feel some disappointment that his route was so short? Like maybe it's because I started it off right were we can level up our affection with him, but still. When I think about it though it was pretty good and wrapped him up nicely, so maybe I'm just messed up with how short it is, since I was so used to the other ones being full routes.)

I am just happy that Hiroya's character type isn't one I'm all to attracted to, haha... In the end though I really loved and enjoyed this game! I personally have a few routes that I just ended up enjoying a lot more than others. I also enjoyed the art and it was pretty entertaining story wise. Not only that but I also enjoyed the RPG parts. So I do recommend this game to people who are interested but don't know if they should try it out yet!

Let's Talk About Sweets That Need To Be Made! +Otome Games I Want Translated

Hello! Welcome back to another post! In all due honesty this post is kinda late due to me forgetting it was Sunday, so I forgot to make a post til now. Though in all due honesty my mind has been so filled with so much other stuff in my life that I just kinda didn't have the mind space to remember this week. But it's fine since I'm making a post now! Not only that but next weeks post SHOULD be my post about "Period: Cube ~Shackles of Amadeus~"! Though if it's not next weeks post then definitely the weeks after next week.

Also! The English version of "Uta no Prince Sama: Shining Live" is planning on coming out soon! It's going to be on both IOS and Android with the preregister already on Google Play! Shining Live is a rhythm game by Klab and Broccoli. All of the social media for the game is now out and open and if we reach a certain following goals then we get bonuses for when the game comes out! So I'll put the links down below of the website and their Facebook and Twitter! (Make sure to follow their Twitter and/or Facebook page so we can get those bonuses! We already got two out of the three!) pre-orders for the Code: Realize games both regular and limited addition versions are now available for pre-order! Both will be coming out on March 30th of this year! Now this post will be about otome games that I would really enjoy to be translated! Like in my other post I'll only be doing my top three, so let's get on with it!

The first game (series in this case) I would like to mention is "Uta no Prince Sama"! Honestly I'm always holding back in my posts to not talk about this and every information that comes out for it. Though now is my chance! I really love all the songs this series has to offer! I love all the characters in it and this is honestly something that has became really important to me in my life. So I would really enjoy for these games to be translated to English.

Synopsis (From Wikipedia):
With dreams of becoming a composer and someday writing a song for her favorite idol, Haruka Nanami enters the Saotome Academy, a prestigious performing arts school. If successful there, she'll be able to join the Shining Agency after graduation. However, it won't be so easy when Haruka is already surrounded by potential idols and composers. On top of that, her homeroom teacher is a current idol, the headmaster was a record-breaking singer, and the academy itself is an eccentric place where anything could possibly happen.

In the end, right at the graduation, two students are to be teamed up by the choice, one will take the role of the idol and the other should be the composer. After being paired up, they will sing a song that was both composed, written and sung by them. If successful, they will join and take the spot as the new Shining Agency debut artists. In addition, romance is strictly prohibited at their school.

The next game that I would like to be translated is, "ALICE=ALICE". Originally drama CD's Reject also made it as a PC Game. Though since I can't really add in here the Kuni no Alice series since there used to be an English one of the first game on IOS and Android by the company that made the series "QuinRose" that sadly went bankrupt. But there is also a translation group that is working on translating one of the remakes of the first game on PC. (With most routes and endings already complete!) So I decided to go with this one. (Also since I'm such "Alice in Wonderland" trash if you could not tell.) This one interests me a lot with this cannibalism thing and it honestly seems like something I would enjoy a lot! Not only that but I love the characters already with their descriptions! The art style to me is something I also like a lot!

The last and final game for this post is, "Drug Prince And Narcotic Girl" by coly inc.! This is a Japanese app on IOS and Android that I stumbled across two years ago I think? The art style is the same as most Voltage inc games, but I have never been so hooked on an app that's in Japanese that I really want to be translated into English! Normally I either always skip over them or try not to pay them much mind when I'm on the App or Google Play store.  For this one though I think I'll let the Synopsis do the talking as to why.

The prologue opens with you waking up outdoors, tied to a chair and presented to an audience as a prize. You start to put together what has happened. There’s a boxing ring, which might have been an illegal fighting match and boxers could be injected with cocaine in order to heat things up, making it a win or die fight.

The two boxers step into the ring but then one suddenly grabs the man emceeing the event while the other unties you. You’re wary and refused their help only to realise the two man (after they unmasked themselves) to be Seki Daisuke and Aoyama Itsuki, both your colleagues in Narcotics.

You play a 26-year old pharmacist and suddenly, your friend and colleague Ayako rushed to you about a very handsome man waiting for you at the car park. Thinking that you might have got in trouble with the law, the handsome man insists that he is not doing anything unsavory (unless you had or have been dealing medicine illegally…).

Seki flashed his badge, showing that he’s the head of the Narcotics department. He scouted you for a reason: your body’s ability to handle (or be immune to) certain drugs, which is useful as a wildcard in their operations.

On your first day, you meet the rest of the guys and would be partnered up so he could you show you the ropes and keep you safe because people with the ability to resist the effects of drugs are often targeted (useful for research).
